関田 重太郎

建築／アートプロジェクト

2000年東京都生まれ。2025年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科建築専攻 金田充弘研究室修了。

アートや建築の設計現場を横断しながら、作る過程そのものを設計対象として捉えている。地域の職人やアーティストと伴走しながら実践を展開する。重機や装置といった仕組みの可能性にも興味がある。

2022年度の卒業制作で、量産住宅からクレーンで1本の柱を垂直に引き抜くパフォーマンス作品《Z軸の引っ越し》を発表し、杜賞／匠美賞を受賞。2023年7月 第1回 BUG ART AWARD セミファイナリスト選出。建築新人戦2020 優秀賞。安宅賞奨学基金採択。クマ財団9期採択。

In 2022, his graduation project “Dynamic Lift-off to the Z-axis,” which involved using a crane to extract a column from a house, earned him the Mori and Shoubi Prizes.
His interests include freeing architecture from the ground and imagining a future with mobile structures.
